Our online, cloud-based platform makes it easy and fun for you to participate.  
Through UChicagoConnect, participants engage in free, 15-minute, text-based online chats with an experienced resume reviewer. Resume reviewers will review your resume in real time and offer you one-on-one feedback.
Lines for the coaches will form. While you wait, stop into the Peer-to-Peer networking booth to network with other UChicago Alumna/us. You could ask a peer to review your resume, share job search tips or create a new contact.
The chats are text-based and timed, allowing you to quickly meet new people, exchange contact information, and walk away with several new connections you didn't have before. Each chat is saved, making it simple to look back at your history, review your notes, gather contact information and follow up.

About the Resume Reviewers:

Liz coaches executives and professionals globally from all industries and functional areas. She is Associate Director of Career Development at Cornell University, coaching Executive MBAs.  Prior to working in higher ed, Liz worked as a staffing executive in the financial services, consumer product, professional services and industrial manufacturing industries. She also worked in executive search and for a premiere outplacement firm, in addition to IvyExec.com and Vault.com. Her expertise includes executive coaching as well as career transition coaching (job search strategy, effective networking, interviewing, résumé, cover letter and LinkedIn profile development, offer negotiation and on-boarding.) Liz earned her BA in Humanities at The University of Chicago and an MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.  She is also a Certified Professional Coach and Certified Professional Resume writer.

michelle-antonioMichelle A. Antonio, MBA'97

Michelle Antonio is a professional career coach who is passionate about leveraging her 20+ years of experience in recruiting, consulting and career management leadership roles to partner with clients to help them achieve career success through the power of insightful self-assessment, clarifying one’s career goals and creating actionable job search strategies.

With her undergraduate degree in Marketing from the Wharton School and MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, Michelle spent the early part of her career in the consulting industry, working as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company, and serving as the Recruiting Director of Deloitte Consulting's Chicago office, where she facilitated hiring decisions on hundreds of applicants annually.

Michelle then spent 7 years at The Wharton School's MBA Career Management team as the Career Advisor covering the Consulting and Public Interest sectors and within three years, was promoted to the leadership role of Director, overseeing the 20+ member staff and full operations of the Wharton MBA Career Management office at the University of Pennsylvania. During her 4 year tenure as Director, she developed critical relationships and insights across the broad set of industry employers who hire MBAs, which allowed her to further hone her career coaching and job search skills expertise.

Michelle launched Michelle Antonio Career Coaching, LLC in 2010 in order to focus her passion and energy on helping students and her clients achieve both their short and long-term career goals.

Pam Schilling leverages 25 years of experience from strategy consulting and tech-co finance leadership roles to set the strategic direction for Arch Career Partners and working directly with clients. Her career mission is to bring talent to organizations and build talent within, aiming to advance business priorities and individual career goals. Pam’s expertise is 1. thinking strategically about career advancement, 2. drawing out insights about skills/capabilities/career path, 3. establishing creative and rigorous approaches for training, and 4. framing roadmaps to pursue roles and advance with high performing organizations.

Prior to Arch Career Partners, Pam’s roles included completing Sprint’s Finance Leadership Rotational Program, consultant with Diamond Technology Partners and Strategy& (now part of PwC), Chief of Staff for a practice leader with Huron Consulting Group, Director of Finance during the IPO of a tech-firm, and Career Coach with Chicago Booth’s Career Services team.

Pam has an MBA from Chicago Booth, a B.S.B. in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk!), and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Business Administration at DePaul University. MaryBeth is an experienced leadership and career coach who has more than twenty-five years of experience working with executives and their teams. She coaches senior leaders, managers, and high-potentials to acquire the leadership tools they need to successfully advance their careers. She specializes in the development of emotional intelligence and mindful leadership. She also coaches executives on making successful career transitions, including finding a new career, moving towards retirement, or making a parallel move into a new industry.

MaryBeth is an adjunct instructor at New York University, teaching leadership coaching. She coaches clients in leadership development internationally for Skyline Group, and partners with The Potential Project to lead corporate mindfulness initiatives in Fortune 500 firms.  

Previously MaryBeth had a career in management consulting, international corporate finance and human resources. She has worked with CEOs, CFOs, senior executives and global teams. In her last corporate role, she led high potential talent development and recruitment initiatives for Unilever U.S.

Tom Mullaney has wide experience in journalism and public relations. He worked at Business Week and has published in The New York Times, Chicago Magazine, Crain's and the Chicago Tribune. In his PR capacity, he offered executive positioning, media relations and special event services.
